Moving on through Ireland from Galway

Our day yesterday took us to Balleyhahill, home of some family roots.  Not a lot going on in this off-the-beaten track village in County Kerry.  We rode from Kerry to County Clare on the Shannon Ferry.  Before leaving Kerry, I snapped a photo of a log deck for Bill, the forester.

Annie did some geocaching, as always.  We visited the Cliffs of Moher on a very foggy, wet day.  And, we visited a dolman or ancient portal tomb in the rock hillsides not far from Galway.  It was after sundown, so I borrrowed a photo from the Internet.

Yesterday's tolling included more castles than Border Collies----saw only two black-and-white pups and about half a dozen castles.

By the way, if anyone's interested, Justin Bieber is in Ireland.  We've heard as much about Justin as we have about pancakes.  Both very important topics for the Irish yesterday.

Off to Northern Ireland, where we'll be looking for signs of my mother's roots in Donegal.

Still loving every minute and every mile.  Miles to go before we sleep again and so much to tell about with so little time.
